There are several reasons to cite when recommending IPO. For some, it’s the opportunity to share ideas and best practices on IPO committees. For others, it’s the free CLE for all members through the IP Chat Channel. Just let your potential member know why you joined and what keeps you renewing each year. Sometimes, just asking someone to join is all it takes.
If you need some material to work off, we have created sample emails that you can personalize. Each appeal is specific to that category of membership (i.e., corporate, law firm, or service provider) and includes a time-sensitive offer to add three free additional months to their first year of membership.
