RESOLVED, IPO reaffirms its belief that special disclosure requirements for patent applications will not further the goals of ensuring prior informed consent for access to genetic resources/associated traditional knowledge, or fair and equitable benefit sharing. Accordingly, IPO continues to oppose such special disclosure requirements for patent applications.
