IPO Fact-Finding Trip to China

IPO is pleased to announce its 13th fact-finding trip to China organized by IPO’s Asian Practice Committee. This year, the trip will take place in Beijing. Registrants will have a unique opportunity to share experiences and perspectives on intellectual property issues with patent practitioners, government agencies, and the judiciary.

IPO has a room block at the Grand Hyatt Beijing. Our bus will depart and return to this location during the week of meetings. The IPO room rate is 1,100CNY + taxes single room or 1,180CNY + taxes double room. Rooms include breakfast. The room rate is available until September 26, 2016 or until the room block is sold out, whichever comes first.
Attendees are responsible for making their own flight arrangement to and from China. However, IPO will provide bus transportation throughout the meeting to and from the meetings to the host hotel.
VISA Invitation Letters
IPO is working with an organization in China who will be issuing VISA invitation letters to all attendees who register by September 2 for IPO’s Fact-Finding Trip to China. Please enter your information on your registration form if you require an invitation letter. Note: After Sept. 2, attendees will be responsible for obtaining their own VISA invitation letters. For convenience, attendees who have a company/firm branch located in China can request an invitation letter within their own company.

Cancellations must be in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org. Cancellations received by Monday, October 3, 2016 will be subject to a $100 processing fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations received on or after October 3, 2016. These deadlines for cancellation apply to all registrants. If a registrant is unable to attend, another person may substitute upon written request. Please note that fees are not transferable to another IPO meeting.
IPO reserves the right to cancel this event without liability, and the total amount of any and all liability of the organizers will be limited to a refund of the registration fee. Any fees associated with cancellation of travel or housing reservations is the exclusive responsibility of conference attendees.
