Patent Agents Committee
The Patent Agent Committee will seek to promote the value and role of patent agents as part of IPO’s mission in promoting high quality and enforceable intellectual property rights. Specifically, the Committee will:
- Provide a unique networking opportunity for patent agents and champions thereof;
- Promote awareness about the value of patent agents;
- Develop and implement a curriculum for career development with regards to patent preparation and prosecution, opinion work, and related strategy
- Partner with attorney allies for developing and implementing a curriculum for improving awareness of implications of patent preparation and prosecution on agreements, oppositions, mergers and acquisitions, and the like
