AI platforms have marketed and grown on a promise of efficiency and ease for our business and personal lives, motivating businesses across industries (including more traditional, analog businesses) to explore adopting these AI tools as broadly and quickly as possible. At the same time, concerns about maintaining confidentiality of trade secrets have become more urgent, and the risks higher. The resulting scenario leaves companies pursuing AI adoption with a complex reality: how to deploy these new AI tools in a manner that is responsible and does not jeopardize valuable trade secrets.
