IPO’s Patent Agents Committee is building community, mentorship, and resources specifically for patent agents and patent practitioners. In 2026, the committee goals include:
- Launching a coaching initiative pairing newer agents with experienced mentors
- Hosting an AI roundtable on practitioner use and challenges
- Developing a Patent Agent Mentoring Program with reference materials on confidentiality, case law, and jurisdiction requirements
