IPO TO CELEBRATE WORLD IP DAY ON APRIL 29
In 2000 the World Intellectual Property Organization’s member states designated April 26 as World IP Day, with the aim of increasing general awareness and understanding of IP. This year’s theme is “Sports and IP: Ready, Set, Innovate.” IPO will cosponsor an event on Capitol Hill on April 29, 2026 from 4-7pm ET, to celebrate World IP Day. Join IPO and partner organizations either virtually or in person in Washington, DC, to learn about the role IP rights play in encouraging innovation and creativity. The event is free to attend. However, advance registration is required.
