The new format for the IPO Education Foundation Awards Celebration allows guests more opportunities to network. The event is December 7th from 6-10pm ET at the National Building Museum and the schedule includes a welcome reception, awards ceremony, and post ceremony dinner reception. During the post ceremony dinner reception, various food stations and bars will be set up around the room to allow for guests to move around and meet new people or catch up with old friends.

IPO PARTICIPATES IN APAA MEETING
IPO Asian Practice Committee (APC) Co-Vice Chair ROBERT SIMINSKI (Harness IP) recently participated in the Asian Patent Attorneys Association Council Meeting in Busan, Korea, on behalf of IPO. At the APAA President’s luncheon, he provided remarks to the Association’s Leadership Counsel, indicating that IPO considers Asia to be an increasingly important region for IP and economic development and describing IPO’s international activities, including those facilitated by the APC to support effective, affordable, and balanced IP rights in the Asian region. He noted that IPO looks forward to further opportunities to work with APAA and encouraged APAA members to consider attending the 2023 IPO Annual Meeting.
