IPO has reserved a block of rooms at the Marriott Marquis, where the conference is taking place. In order to receive the IPO group rate, reservations must be made directly with the hotel by Friday, August 18, or until the room block is sold out, whichever comes first. Reference the “2017 IPO Annual Meeting” when making your reservation
to obtain the group rate of $309/night plus taxes.

***ALERT: BEWARE OF HOTEL ROOM POACHERS/PIRATES***
Unauthorized housing companies (called hotel “poachers”) have been contacting IPO members and exhibitors offering to assist in making room reservations for IPO’s Annual Meeting. This practice, also known as “room pirating”, is a scam that all IPO members and Annual Meeting attendees should be aware of in order to avoid passing along personal and financial information. Hotel poachers will claim to be an IPO “partner” or the “official housing company” and will sometimes ask that your room be paid in full, up front. A one-night deposit isn’t enough; they want it all and for every room you book, when you book. Most poaching agencies do not have a contract with any hotels for room blocks. IPO does not use a housing agent or third party for hotel reservations. In order to reserve your room at the group rate, you must contact the hotel directly. If you receive an unsolicited call or email from any company that is not our official hotel, contact us immediately.

The hotel is located on 4th and Mission Streets. The Powell Street BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) stop is on the corner. The hotel is 14 miles from San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and 20 miles from Oakland International Airport (OAK).
