This webinar features the USPTO\u2019s Deputy Commissioner for Patent Examination Policy, a top in-house counsel, and an experienced patent prosecutor.\u00a0 They will analyze the USPTO\u2019s revised guidance on patent eligibility that was issued earlier this month \u2012 and discuss how the Office is expected apply the U.S. Supreme Court\u2019s\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Alice\/Mayo<\/span><\/span><\/i>\u00a0test for subject matter eligibility going forward.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The new guidance supersedes conflicting sections in the Manual of Patent Examining Procedure, prior guidance, and prior memoranda.\u00a0 The panel will elucidate the key ways the new guidance is expected to impact criteria and procedures.\u00a0 In addition, the panel will explore:<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
