**Registration is only open to current<\/strong> IPO Asian Practice Committee\u00a0Members and IPO Corporate Members. \u00a0You must have already been serving on IPO’s Asian Practice Committee to attend. Members cannot join the Asian Practice Committee now to attend the meeting.<\/em>**<\/span><\/p>\n

IPO is pleased to announce its 14th trip to China organized by IPO\u2019s Asian Practice Committee. This year, the trip will take place in Beijing and Shanghai. Registrants will have a unique opportunity to share experiences and perspectives on intellectual property issues with patent practitioners, government agencies, and the judiciary.<\/p>\n

Flights\/Train<\/span><\/h3>\n

Attendees are responsible for making their own flight arrangement to and from China. However, IPO will provide bus transportation throughout the meeting to and from the meetings to the host hotel.<\/span><\/p>\n

For attendees traveling from Beijing to Shanghai, the group will travel by high speed train after the morning meeting (Train is G147 Depart Beijing South Station: 15:46 Arrive Shanghai: 21:50).\u00a0If attendees need assistance booking their train ticket, please contact Clara Stanfield by 25 September to purchase a group train ticket for $300USD (Business Class).<\/p>\n

VISA Invitation Letters<\/span><\/h3>\n

IPO is working with an organization in China who\u00a0will be issuing VISA invitation letters to all attendees who register by 1\u00a0September. \u00a0\u00a0Please enter your information on your registration form if you require an invitation letter. Note: After 1 Sept., attendees will be responsible for obtaining their own VISA invitation letters. \u00a0For convenience, attendees who have a company\/firm branch located in China can request an invitation letter within their own company.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/h3>\n

Cancellation\u00a0Policy<\/span><\/h3>\n

Cancellations must be in writing to\u00a0<\/span>meetings@ipo.org<\/a>. Cancellations received by Monday, 2 October 2017 will be subject to a $100 processing fee.\u00a0 No refunds will be given for cancellations received on or after 2 October 2017.\u00a0 These deadlines for cancellation apply to all registrants. \u00a0If a registrant is unable to attend, another person may substitute upon written request.\u00a0 Please note that fees are not transferable to another IPO meeting.<\/span><\/p>\n

IPO reserves the right to cancel this event without liability, and the total amount of any and all liability of the organizers will be limited to a refund of the registration fee. Any fees associated with cancellation of travel or housing reservations is the exclusive responsibility of conference attendees.<\/span><\/p>\n
