IPO has reserved a block of rooms at the New York Hilton, where the conference is taking place. In order to receive the IPO group\u00a0rate, reservations must be made directly with the hotel by Friday, August 12<\/strong>, or until the room block is sold out, whichever comes first. Reference the \u201c2016 IPO Annual Meeting\u201d when making your reservation to obtain the group rate of $359\/night plus taxes.<\/p>\n

***ALERT<\/span>: BEWARE OF HOTEL ROOM POACHERS\/PIRATES***<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

IPO has been alerted that unauthorized housing companies (called hotel \u201cpoachers\u201d) have been contacting IPO members and exhibitors offering to assist in making room reservations for IPO\u2019s Annual Meeting. This practice, also known as \u201croom pirating\u201d, is a scam that all IPO members and Annual Meeting attendees should be aware of in order to avoid passing along personal and financial information.\u00a0 Hotel poachers will claim to be an IPO \u201cpartner\u201d or the \u201cofficial housing company\u201d and will sometimes ask that your room be paid in full, up front. \u00a0A one-night deposit isn\u2019t enough; they want it all and for every room you book, when you book. Most poaching agencies do not have a contract with any hotels for room blocks. \u00a0IPO does not use a housing agent or third party for hotel reservations.\u00a0 In order to reserve your room at the group rate, you must contact the hotel directly. \u00a0If you receive an un-requested call or email from any company that is not our official housing provider, contact us<\/a>\u00a0immediately.<\/p>\n

On Avenue of the Americas (6th Ave.) between West 53rd and West 54th Streets. 53rd street is west bound and 54th street is east bound.
