Volvo Car Corp.<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p>On March 27, Judge BLACKBURN in the District of Colorado granted $407,047 in attorney fees to the accused infringer.\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/ipo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Brilliant-optical.pdf\">Brilliant Optical Solutions v. Comcast Corp.<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p>On March 31, Judge STARK in the District of Delaware denied the patent owner\u2019s motion for attorney fees.\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/ipo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Ateliers.pdf\">Ateliers De Le Haute-Garonne v. Broetje Automation-USA Inc.<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p>On March 31, Judge SAVAGE in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania granted the accused infringer\u2019s motion for attorney fees.\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/ipo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Alzheimers-Institute.pdf\">Alzheimer\u2019s Institute of America, Inc. v. Avid Radiopharmaceuticals<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p>On March 31, Judge PALLMEYER in the Northern District of Illinois granted the accused infringer\u2019s motion to sanction plaintiff\u2019s counsel under 28 U.S.C. \u00a7 1927 in the form of attorney fees.\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/ipo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Intellect-wireless.pdf\">Intellect Wireless, Inc. v. Sharp Corp.<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p>On March 31, Judge ROBINSON in the District of Delaware denied the accused infringer\u2019s motion for attorney fees.\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/ipo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/computer-software-protection.pdf\">Computer Software Protection LLC v. Adobe Systems, Inc.<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p>On March 31, Judge LASNIK in the Western District of Washington awarded $122,229 in attorney fees to the alleged infringer.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ipo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/MEDTRICA-SOLUTIONS-LTD..pdf\"><em>Medtrica Solutions Ltd. V . Cygnus Medical LLC<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<p>On March 31, Judge YEAKEL in the Western District of Texas denied the accused infringer\u2019s motion for attorney fees.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ipo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/DDB-TECHNOLOGIES.pdf\"><em>DDB Technologies LLC v. Fox Sports Interactive Media, LLC<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<p>On April 1, Judge SELNA in the Central District of California awarded $222,342 in attorney fees to the alleged infringer.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ipo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Dzinesquare-Inc.-V.-Armano-Luxury-Alloys-Inc.-et-al..pdf\"><em>Dzinesquare, Inc. v. Armano Luxury Alloys, Inc.<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<p>On April 1, Judge SELNA in the Central district of California denied the accused infringer\u2019s motion for attorney fees.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ipo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Essociate-Inc.-V.-4355768-Canada.pdf\"><em>Essociate, Inc. v. 4355768 Canada Inc.<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<p>On April 3, Magistrate Judge SPAULDING in the Middle District of Florida recommended denying the accused infringer\u2019s motion for attorney fees.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ipo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/TRACSTAR-SYSTEMS.pdf\"><em>F4W, Inc. v. Tracstar Systems, Inc.<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<p>On April 9, Judge SWAIN in the Southern District of New York awarded $818,124 in attorney fees and expenses to the accused infringer. The patent owner and its former counsel were jointly and severally liable for the award under 35 U.S.C. 285 and 18 U.S.C. 1927.\u00a0<i><a href=\"https:\/\/ipo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/WorldwidevBedBath.pdf\">Worldwide v. BedBath<\/a><\/i><\/p>\n<p>On April 16, Judge EZRA in the District of Nevada granted a net $571,000 in attorney fees to the accused infringer under 35 U.S.C. 285 after deducting $123,000 in sanctions against the accused infringer. He denied the accused infringer\u2019s motion under 18 U.S.C. 1927 and the court\u2019s inherent power to make the patent owner\u2019s counsel liable for attorney fees. <i><a href=\"https:\/\/ipo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/home-gambling.pdf\">Home Gambling Network, Inc. v. Piche<\/a><\/i><\/p>\n<p>On April 20, Judge WRIGHT in the Central District of California denied the accused infringer\u2019s motion for attorney fees. <i><a href=\"https:\/\/ipo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/my-medical-records.pdf\">MyMedicalRecords, Inc. v. Jardogs, LLC<\/a><\/i><\/p>\n<p>On April 20, Magistrate Judge KOPPE in the District of Nevada recommended awarding $2,491,004 in attorney fees to the patent owner.\u00a0<i><a href=\"https:\/\/ipo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/avoe.pdf\">Aevoe Corp. v. AE Tech Co.<\/a><\/i><\/p>\n<p>On April 20, Judge ROBINSON in the District of Delaware granted $51,046 in attorney fees to the accused infringer. <i><a href=\"https:\/\/ipo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/technology-innovations.pdf\">Technology Innovations, LLC v. Amazon.com, Inc.<\/a><\/i><\/p>\n<p>On April 21, Magistrate Judge HILLMAN in the District of Massachusetts denied the accused infringer\u2019s motion for attorney fees.\u00a0<i><a href=\"https:\/\/ipo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/barron.pdf\">Barron v.
