IPO is pleased to announce its 12th<\/sup>\u00a0fact-finding trip to China\u00a0organized by IPO’s Asian Practice Committee.
\nThis year, the trip will take place in Beijing, China and Tokyo, Japan. \u00a0Registrants will\u00a0have a unique opportunity to\u00a0share experiences and\u00a0perspectives with patent practitioners and the judiciary of\u00a0China and Japan on intellectual property practice.<\/p>\n

Flights<\/h3>\n

Attendees are responsible for making their own flight arrangement to and from China and Japan. However, IPO will provide bus transportation on Wednesday, Nov. 4. Bus will depart Grand Hyatt Beijing after the morning\u00a0meetings to the Beijing Airport (PEK) and IPO will pick up attendees when they arrive in Toyo from the HND airport.<\/p>\n

Attendees are recommended to take ANA Flight #962 departing PEK at 3:45pm and arriving at 8pm in HND in Tokyo in order to catch the bus.<\/p>\n

VISA Invitation Letters<\/h3>\n

The\u00a0China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) will be issuing VISA invitation letters to all attendees who register by September 18 for IPO’s Fact-Finding Trip to China. US citizens do not need a VISA for Japan. \u00a0Please enter your information on your registration form if you require an invitation letter<\/strong>. Note: After Sept. 18, attendees will be responsible for obtaining their own VISA invitation letters. \u00a0For convenience, attendees who have a company\/firm branch located in China can request an invitation letter within their own company.<\/p>\n

Cancellations must be in writing to Mike Ferrari (meetings@ipo.org<\/a>). Cancellations received by Monday, October 5, 2015 will be subject to a $100 processing fee.\u00a0 No refunds will be given for cancellations received on or after October 5, 2015.\u00a0 These deadlines for cancellation apply to all registrants. \u00a0If a registrant is unable to attend, another person may substitute upon written request.\u00a0 Please note that fees are not transferable to another IPO meeting.<\/span><\/p>\n
