For the 8th year, IPO’s European Practice Committee is organizing a conference, titled “The Ever-Changing IP Landscape: Patents, Trademarks, and Trade Secrets in 2019 and Beyond” in cooperation with the University of Basel.  Panel topics include: How to Protect your Data One Year After the Trade Secrets Directive; Equivalent Patent Infringement; How Founded is the Current Critique on the Patent System?; and Are the Good Old Trademark (Lawyer) Days Over?  There will be a networking reception immediately following the conference.  Click here to view the full program.

Cancellation Policy

Contact (meetings@ipo.org) no later 5:00pm ET 3 weeks prior to the date of the meeting to cancel your registration. Any cancellation received before 3 weeks of the meeting date will be subject to a $100 processing fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations received on or after 3 weeks to the meeting date. These deadlines for cancellation apply to all registrants. Course materials will be sent to those unable to attend, but who cancel on or after 3 weeks before the meeting date. If a registrant is unable to attend, another person may substitute upon written request. Please note that fees are not transferable to another IPO meeting. The individual submitting the substitution request is responsible for all financial obligations (any balance due) associated with that substitution as well as updating any contact information. Badge sharing, splitting, and reprints are strictly prohibited. IPO reserves the right to cancel this event without liability, and the total amount of any and all liability of the organizers will be limited to a refund of the registration fee. Any fees associated with cancellation of travel or housing reservations is the exclusive responsibility of conference attendees. IPO regrets that refunds will not be given for no-shows.
